I-85 Design Build Project News
Please note that even though all lanes are finished on the project, there is still work to be done. From now until late July, crews may need to block lanes during the day or overnight, so we stress the importance of safety in the work zone! Please be aware of workers and keep to the posted speed limit.
Lane Closures/Traffic Updates
September 14, 2005: Beginning Monday September 19 at 9am, the far right lane on I-85 northbound at the Mallard Creek Bridge will be closed to build barrier wall. This lane will be closed for approximately three weeks. Please drive with caution in this corridor!
Work will be dependent on weather.
